PROCESSING OF ORDERS
UK, EU, Rest of the WorldFAB Press aim to ship all items to UK, EU and Rest of the World Customers during the next shipping day following receipt of your order. Typically there is one shipping day in each working week (defined as Monday to Friday inclusive), however during busy periods we may ship on two days per working week. If the office is closed for more than one week at any time a notice will be prominently displayed at the home page of the FAB Press informing customers of this fact.
USA For logistical reasons we offer two different shipping options at checkout: (1) Super Fast Tracked Courier (delivered ASAP), (2) USPS Media Mail (typically takes 3 to 4 weeks)
Pre-Order Shipping Special Offers for USA Customers. Occasionally we offer a time-limited Budget Sea Freight shipping option, which is especially useful when we have large numbers of orders, typically during Pre-Order periods for new books. Using this option will save you money, but it will also take a long time for your book to arrive. PLEASE BE PATIENT IF YOU TAKE UP THIS OFFER.
Your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock. Some items may be unavailable. We regret we are not able to supply dates when our suppliers may get an item in stock. We are pleased to be able to offer full order tracking facilities for customers. After you have placed an order, you will be able to check on its status by visiting the FAB Press Online Customer Area, either by clicking the link included in your email order confirmation, or by clicking the link at the top of the website's home page. Please note that we do not ship in instalments; if you place a large order and any item is not currently in stock, for example a Pre-Order item, we will only ship the entire order once all items are available.
Credit and debit cards are immediately debited by Nochex or PayPal on behalf of FAB Press when you place your order. This payment process is valid for all orders, including pre-orders. Books and magazines are zero-rated for Value Added Tax (VAT), however all other goods offered at this website are subject to VAT for all customers who are purchasing within the European Union. All prices for VAT-applicable goods are shown net of VAT, and the appropriate amount of VAT will be added at the point of sale. Customers ordering from outside the European Union are not required to pay VAT.
Shipments to your delivery address may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges to clear customs must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country so we advise that customers contact their local customs office for further information. Note that international shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
RETURNS
Our standard Returns Policy applies to all purchases from FAB Press. FAB Press will accept Returns of faulty goods or in the case of exceptional circumstances, for example duplicate items purchased in error. However, please note that we do not provide returns numbers, documentation, or shipping labels. All returns are shipped at the risk and expense of the purchaser, and return shipping costs are non-refundable. Refunds for the cost of goods will only be processed upon receipt by FAB Press of the returned goods, therefore if you do wish to make a return the use of tracked mail or courier services are highly recommended. Additionally, please note that refunds only apply to the cost of the purchased goods themselves; we do not refund the cost of delivery to the customer as billed as part of the original purchase.

Weight of goods and cost of delivery
The cost of delivery is determined according to the currently applicable rates charged by Royal Mail for the UK, and either Royal Mail Airmail or applicable courier services for customers outside the UK. The amount paid for shipping is determined in accordance with a weight-based system. Full details of Royal Mail's shipping rates are shown at the Royal Mail website, which can be accessed via this link. Typical shipping times to addresses outside the UK are 7 to 14 days. Each item for sale at this website has been allocated a weight, by reference to which the total weight of each order can be calculated for the purpose of determining the amount to be paid for delivery. The weights shown have been rounded up to the nearest 5g.
Services used for deliveries to addresses within the UK:
Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Services used for deliveries to address outside the UK:
All packages are sent by the Royal Mail Airmail or suitable courier services, the precise courier company used dependent upon prevailing shipping rates, which are subject to great fluctuation.
FAB Press reserves the right to levy a suitable packaging charge for each customer's order. This charge (when activated) will be a flat rate per order placed, regardless of how many items are bought with a single payment. Our packing charges will never exceed the actual material cost to ourselves.
Exclusions for Shipping to Countries Outside the United Kingdom
Unfortunately, due to unreliable Airmail postal services in some countries, and other circumstances beyond our control, FAB Press limits Worldwide shipping to destinations that have a history of providing trouble-free delivery to customers. These restrictions are based on our own extensive experience, and we apologise to people who we cannot help by offering Airmail delivery to their door. Current shipping exclusions apply to all of Central America and South America (except Brazil and Chile: strictly FedEx only), all of Africa (except South Africa), Serbia, Slovakia, China, and Ukraine (at least while the Russian military invasion is on-going). FAB Press will not engage in any correspondence or transactions with any individuals or companies based in Russia or Belarus. Other exclusions may apply; please get in touch by e-mail - enquiries@fabpress.com - if you feel particularly concerned about your country's exclusion, as we may be able to discuss setting up a special Tracked Courier rate (FedEx) for you.
VAT, Customs and Courier Brokerage Fees for European Union Customers
EU Customers Please Note: We are shipping from within the UK, therefore if you reside in a European Union country you may be charged VAT at the current VAT rate specific to your country upon receipt of your purchase. VAT and Customs brokerage charges are outside the control of FAB Press Ltd, and the responsibility for payment of all such fees and charges is entirely the responsibility of the Customer.
Lost Mail
Occasionally items go astray during delivery to customers. We will of course send out replacement items if it becomes clear that items have been lost en route to a customer. However, we have found that more often than not, rather than being lost, items that do not arrive in a reasonable time are delayed in the mail, and do eventually arrive. Therefore we do not consider an item to be lost in the mail until the following time periods have elapsed:
UK 4 weeks minimum.
Outside the UK 8 weeks minimum.
